Most Memorable VMA Red Carpet Looks By: Gabriella Volpe

This year at the VMA's, the fashion was totally off the wall. From geometrical pieces to simple tuxes and bedazzled garments, to more simple, well refined ensembles. The stars themselves are already well known, but their outfits elevate their status even more. Let's begin with the one and only Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift in Oscar de la Renta. Some say she took inspiration from her "Look What you Made Me Do" video.
Anitta in Schiparelli Couture. The half corset half halter top adds a geometrical pop to her velvet skirt.
Lizzo in Jean Paul Gaultier Couture and Jennifer Fischer jewlery. The most memorable and breathtaking outfit of the night, stealing the show.
Lil Nas X in Harris Reed. The headpiece to this outfit symmetrically pleases the bottom perfectly.
Jack Harlow in Hermès. The leather that makes up the suit gives it a stimulating look and texture, but makes it aesthetically pleasing.
J Balvin in Louis Vuitton. The white suit and shoes makes an interesting contrast to the orange design in his hair.
Sabrina Carpenter in Moschino. The cutouts in the dress, along with the floral sequened pattern make for an entrancing vibe, but beuatiful nonetheless.
Dove Cameron in Paco Rabbane. The black leather pieces with the silver accents brings out the floral pattern on her dress.
Shenseea in Marc Jacobs. The mirrors on her top and belts make the outfit pop, along with her white platform heels.
Lili Reinhart in Fendi. The long, but small keyhole cutout in the chest adds dimension and texture to her dress.
