Day 1-2: Casablanca

Casablanca – the very name conjures up romantic images of a French colonial past, not to mention the wartime classic. Set up by the French as a key commercial port in Morocco, it’s old French legacy is reflected in its handsome Mauresque buildings.

  • Half Day : Casablanca City Tour: Discover the many attractions of this famous city set by the Atlantic Ocean, in this private tour. Set off from your hotel at a convenient time and head to the city’s Central Market. As you drive along, get a glimpse of the city’s skyline, a mix of traditional architecture with modern and art deco styles liberally interspersed. At the market, browse through the colorful displays of produce, seafood, and flowers even as you take in the charm of the Neo-Mauresque style building. Head over to the ornate Mahakma building dating back to the 1950s. With 60 rooms, this sprawling structure made of stone, marble, and wood simultaneously served as a Muslim law court and the governor’s reception hall. Stop by the Hassan II mosque, the largest in Africa, with a capacity of 80,000! Only one of two mosques open to non-Islamic visitors, this magnificent edifice was completed in 1993 and is larger than Saint Peter’s in Rome. Day 2-3: Rabat

Rabat, the charming capital of Morocco, was granted its UNESCO Heritage site status in 2012. Standing at the confluence of the Bouregreg River and the Atlantic, it’s an elegant fusion of Islamic heritage and French colonial legacy.

Located in the heart of Rabat, Riad Kalaa dates from 1815 and is set within the walls of the medina. It is close to the ocean and boasts a swimming pool.
  • Rabat’s City: Recently granted UNESCO World Heritage status, the city of Rabat is yours to discover! Named after the Arabic word ‘ribaat’ meaning ‘fortified place’, the capital of Morocco has a long and rich history behind it. Begin your tour at the medina, where you will find the Hassan tower, an unfinished minaret from the time of Yaqub al Mansur, who wished to build the largest mosque in Rabat. An important figure in the construction of Rabat, the city walls and restored Kasbah of the Udayas on your itinerary, stand testimony to Mansur’s efforts. Next, explore the Chellah, also the ruined Roman city of Sala, which boasts ancient monuments and buildings. Also a fortified Muslim necropolis where the Merenid dynasty are buried, the Chellah is one of the best archaeological sites of modern day Morocco. Day 3-5: Fes

Fes, or Fez, the grandest royal city created by Morocco’s early Muslim rulers in the 9th century, is the country’s cultural capital and spiritual heart.

Marvel at the splendor of the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the founding Sultan of this imperial city and admire the nearby Heri es-Souani which used to house the royal granary and stables. Explore the remains of fortifications which stand testimony to the city’s former glory and meticulous planning. Enjoy the local vibe with a stroll through the Place Hedim where historic buildings and narrow alleys exude as much atmosphere as its bustling shops and eateries.   • Fes Fantastic Heritage Tour: Traverse through 1,300 years of Moroccan heritage as your guide leads you across the most beautiful medina in Morocco. In the beautiful city of Fes, gaze in awe at the exquisite examples of Islamic art and architecture. Walk through the narrow streets flanked on either side by bustling souks occupied by tailors, artists, and traders selling a variety of wares. Saunter past cafes that lead to outdoor markets, the covered bazaar, and quiet squares where you can spot children at play and donkeys at work transporting supplies. The world’s largest car-free urban space and a prominent UNESCO World Heritage site, the medina is where you will find a large number of spectacular mosques, tanneries, and fountains. Accompany your guide into some of the mosques that permit non-Muslims to enter, so you can get a closer look at the intricate stucco and tile work inside. Explore the new medina, the medersa or Islamic educational institute, and the iconic Bab Boujloud or Blue Gate, which is a great place to indulge in people watching! Stop by the picturesque fountain at Place Nejjarine before you make your way to the mellah (Jewish quarter) for a glimpse into the city’s Jewish heritage. Day 5-6: Beni Mellal

Beni Mellal is where the scenic charms of a rugged landscape meet a vibrant desert culture. Cradled in the foothills of the Middle Atlas range, the town has sweeping views of the Beni Amin plains beneath and is a popular starting point for the magnificent Ouzoud Cascades.

  • Leisurely Exploration of Azrou: Set off at your own pace from Fes as you head toward the city of Beni Mellal, stopping to explore the rural town of Azrou en route. Tucked into the mountains at an altitude of 4,101 feet (1,250 m), this laidback Berber town is characterized by its green oak and cedar trees. The capital of the Middle Atlas region, the town is named for the large rock outcrop found near its western boundary. Take your time exploring the quaint marketplace and admire the splendid Ennour mosque crafted from local cedarwood. Keep an eye out for the large population of wild Barbary macaques that inhabit the cedar wood fringing this typical Moroccan town. (En route Activity; Fitness Level: Easy.)

Day 6-8: Marrakesh

Marrakech, with its aura of mystery and exoticism, begs to be explored! From its humble origins as a garrison of the Almoravid desert warriors, Marrakech today is a vibrant city where modernity meets tradition.

Dar Baraka Karam is located in the old Medina of Marrakech. The neighborhood, where we can find several little interesting craft, decoration and clothing shops, has an easy access.
  • Sunset Camel Safari and Supper in Agafay: Set out on an hour-long, late-afternoon drive from the bustling streets of Marrakech for an intimate desert experience. Take a brief detour along the banks of Lake Takerkoust enroute, passing through olive and orange orchards, and occasional tarmacs lined with eucalyptus trees. Arriving at the scenic Agafay desert, hop on a dromedary camel and enjoy a leisurely sunset ride in the wilderness. Soak in the dramatic landscape of this rocky desert complemented by panoramic views of the snow-capped High Atlas Mountains. Listen to local folklore and anecdotes courtesy of your local guide, as you navigate the stone covered dunes, sometimes dotted with wildflowers and Bedouin settlements. BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions govern the relationship between Tuviro Travels Safaris and you, our client. Tuviro Travels Safaris presumes that you are of sufficient legal age to use the website and create binding legal obligations. These are the sole terms and conditions that will apply and by signing up for a Tuviro Travels Safaris trip, or any other service therein you accept to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Payment Terms: 'The booking' refers to part or all of the travel arrangements for transportation, accommodation, flights, sightseeing excursions, meals, entertainment and other linked services made on behalf of the client, some of which may be subcontracted from other independent suppliers. A binding contract between you, the client and Tuviro Travels Safaris comes into existence when we receive your booking request and a deposit payment for the booking.

Payment upon confirming services: A deposit of 30% of the total booking value is required in order to confirm part or all of the booking. Certain suppliers impose more stringent payment policies. Should your program include services of such suppliers, Tuviro Travels Safaris will advise you at the time of booking if your booking will require some additional deposit payments. The balance is payable 60 days before the date of the first service by Tuviro Travels Safaris. Should the client fail to remit payments in line with these set time frames, Tuviro Travels Safaris reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and thereby apply any resultant penalties.

Cancellations by Client: Cancellations 90 days or more prior to departure will receive full refund minus the $350 per person administrative fee. 60-89 days will be subject to loss of deposit (30% trip price). 30-59 days will be subject to loss of 50% of program price. 29 days or less will be subject to 100% of program price.

Insurance: All guests are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance covering them for luggage, personal effects, personal accident, medical and emergency travel expenses, cancellation and curtailment of travel arrangements because bookings will be subject to cancellation penalties as detailed above.

Cancellations or Changes by Tuviro Travels Safaris: Tuviro Travels Safaris reserves the right to discontinue and summarily cancel any booking in respect of which payment has fallen in arrears. In the event of this right being exercised, relevant cancellation penalties will be payable by the client or deducted from any deposit payments already made.

Note: Tuviro Travels Safaris is committed to maintaining a close and mutually beneficial relationship with all its clients. We realize that the satisfaction of our clients is our greatest asset. Our morals therefore are guided by a high level of professionalism, honesty and Integrity. From the time you send us your first enquiry, you will be served by a dedicated consultant till the time you return home. Your travel arrangements will be reviewed every so often in order to eliminate chances of errors and omissions. In the unlikely event that Tuviro Travels Safaris has to cancel, amend or curtail your travel arrangements due to our negligence, our failure to exercise care in making the arrangements for you and /or breach of our contractual agreement, we will take liability.

3rd Party Suppliers: Tuviro Travels Safaris acts as a booking agent for hotels, airlines, ground transporters, boat operators, hot air balloon companies and other independent contractors providing accommodations, transportation, and other services that Tuviro Travels Safaris subcontracts on behalf of its clients. Each of these companies is an independent company and is not subject to the control of Tuviro Travels Safaris. Tuviro Travels Safaris therefore will not be liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss which may occur as a result of using such subcontracted services however, Tuviro Travels Safaris will always endeavour to contract services of companies which in our discretion, deliver the contracted services in the appropriate quality while adhering to the laws of the land. In the event that any supplier is unable to provide contracted services for whatever reason, Tuviro Travels Safaris will endeavor to offer you alternative arrangements of similar classification whenever possible. Should you not be willing to take the alternative arrangements offered by Tuviro Travels Safaris, any refunds to which you may be entitled will be subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier. You may not delegate convey or assign your rights duties and obligations entered with Tuviro Travels Safaris.

Force Majeure: "Force Majeure" means any circumstances where the execution of contractual services is prevented or affected by factors beyond the reasonable control of Tuviro Travels Safaris including, but not limited to acts of God, war and threat of war, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disasters such as weather conditions, earthquakes, volcano eruptions, fire, governmental actions and other unexpected occurrences. In these circumstances, we shall not be liable to pay any compensation or otherwise be responsible for any expenses or losses the client may incur where we are forced as a result to cancel, delay, curtail or change the clients’ arrangements in any way or where the performance or prompt performance of our contractual obligations is prevented or affected. Tuviro Travels Safaris also reserves the right to accept or decline any traveler on any trip, before or during the trip should such person's mental or physical condition impede the operation of the service or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other travelers. In this case a refund of the unused land services is the limit of Tuviro Travels Safaris liability to the traveler removed. We also reserve the right to alter or modify the itinerary of any tour or relocate accommodation if schedules, security matters and/or events beyond our control make such explained above.

Travel Documents: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that their passport, visa, health certificates, inoculations, or other documentation required for the trip are obtained, valid and that are all in order. Should Tuviro Travels Safaris incur any costs as a result of failure by the client to fulfill this responsibility, such costs shall be recovered from the client. Malaria is endemic in some parts of Africa and precautions must be taken. It is recommended you visit your primary physician or local travel clinic to review any medications or recommended inoculations. Be sure to carry your inoculation certificate with you as proof of inoculations. If you are concerned about taking any medications, check with your physician before you book your trip.

Special Requests & Important Information: The client must either directly or through their travel agent, advice Tuviro Travels Safaris in writing of any special requests or important information about themselves such as diet, physical disability and any need for special treatment or handling at the time of booking.
