Teacher of the Game Presented by Chevron
The 49ers Foundation and our partners at Chevron want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all educators by honoring them in our community for their commitment to positively impacting and educating the next generation! At every home game this season, a Bay Area educator will receive two complimentary tickets and recognition during the game for their contributions in education.
49ers EDU and Endless Key OS Foundation Partner to Close the Digital Divide
49ers EDU announced a collaboration with the Endless OS Foundation, a social-welfare nonprofit committed to helping people around the world gain access to education, knowledge, and opportunity through technology. As a result, 49ers EDU has lent their virtual education materials to Endless to help close the digital divide through their Endless Key Program.
The Endless Key is a 128 gigabyte USB drive that is designed to provide a robust, engaging, and safe digital learning environment, with high-quality learning and discovery resources that can be accessed offline by students using Windows computers. All keys will be equipped with the 49ers EDU Digital Playbook significantly extending 49ers EDU's reach and impact.
49ers EDU presented by Chevron leverages the game of football and Levi’s® Stadium as platforms to excite children about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concepts, sparking and fueling an interest in these subjects with students at an early age. 49ers EDU is steadfast in its commitment to serving students, teachers, and families—especially those furthest from resource and opportunity—to ensure our community's future workforce will be prepared through high quality and fun STEAM education.
49ers PREP Presented by U.S. Bank Hosts Empowering Our Community for Success as Anthem Team and Halftime Show
The Anthem Team for the 49ers vs. Vikings game on 11/28 was Empowering Our Community for Success. EOCS also got the opportunity to scrimmage on the field during halftime with teams representing San Jose and Morgan Hill locations. Empowering Our Community for Success' mission is to intervene in the lives of at-risk youth and young adults who have demonstrated signs of high risk behavior. EOCS provides positive adult role models as coaches, safe spaces to learn and grow, and new skills which can benefit participants throughout their lives.
49ers PREP presented by U.S. Bank empowers Bay Area youth to lead healthy lifestyles by engaging in physical activity and nurturing the growth of student athletes on and off the playing field. The program provides free non-contact activities for both boys and girls as well as additional programs to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. 49ers PREP’s principal objective is to promote a culture of teamwork by creating safe opportunities for children of all backgrounds and abilities to play, grow, and have fun at no cost.
