Adobe Spark is web-based tool for transforming your ideas into stunning visual stories. You can create videos and social graphics in Spark but for this assignment we are going to concentrate on creating a web page.
Why create your assignment in Spark?
- As you work as both a student and a professional, you need a place where you can showcase what you know and what you can do. (A blog is another good place to do this, but is more involved and takes longer to set up than a Spark page.) An Adobe Spark Page is ideal for projects that don’t require more than one page, such as portfolios, resumes, presentations, and photo galleries. To showcase your Spark Page, simply provide the URL.
- An Adobe Spark Page is a reliable, easy tool for your toolbox, useful for you AND your future work.
- Adobe Spark Page is a free online web-based tool. No coding or design skills needed.
How to Create a Web Page
Create an Account
Sign up for a free Adobe Spark account online at spark.adobe.com/students. Because your work automatically syncs across devices, you can get started on the web and iterate on-the-go or vice-versa. Choose the free version.
Start a Page
Adobe Spark can create all kinds of content. You want to create a Spark Page. Click on the blue + sign on the left side of the homepage, and choose Web page. Then, choose a theme from the “Themes” gallery in the upper right corner to set fonts and styles that will completely transform the look and feel of your content. Don’t like your choice? You can change it at any time by simply selecting another theme.
Choose beautiful images to use
Add your own images from your hard drive, Dropbox, or Lightroom account or choose from thousands of royalty-free photos we provide for you by searching in the right column.
Add different elements to your web page
On your new Page, click the plus sign and choose from the options offered to add text, buttons, images or videos. Continue to add elements with just a couple clicks to quickly build your site as you scroll. Click Preview to see your work before it’s live.
Share your page
When your page is complete, click “Share” to get a new, unique URL. Your page is now ready to be shared across social media platforms, emailed or added to newsletters and other publications. One of the best features of page sharing is that the URL stays the same, no matter how many times you update the page so you don’t have to supply a new URL every time you update your page. How great is that!
Want to make changes or additions?
If you are editing a Page or Video then you’ll need to republish when done, otherwise your readers will see older content. It’s easy. Read how .
