After a lovely long weekend we had lots of fun in school this week. We have started a new story for English, The Ugly Five by Julia Donaldson. We described a character from the book and then had a go at imagining a 6th member.
We learnt about some positive body images this week too. We looked at photos of all different types of people and decided that it’s more important to be nice on the inside. We wrote some positive note to share with each other.
We continued our Lego DT lesson with looking at patterns this week. We had a lot of fun copying each other’s patterns and then trying to copy patterns when turned back to back. We had to listen and follow instructions really carefully.
We sorted some pictures of Edinburgh and Nairobi. We wrote about what we thought we would see in these places if we were to visit.
We also had a lovely week at science club were we became palaeontologists.
