BACKGROUND
'Having picked up a guitar for the first time in University halls, it couldn’t have been predicted that this mere emotional outlet for a turbulent student away from home would render the Indie-folk, singer-songwriter that is, Dreuw.
Through writing and performing, the now Leeds-based artist has continued to use his music to communicate with honesty, reflection and recovery; demonstrating the intimacy and tenderness of his experiences through a raw, yet ethereal, delivery that has been compared to the likes of RY X, Matt Corby and Bon Iver.
Vocalising his journey from the perspective of his innermost thoughts, Dreuw’s new material explores the highs and lows of relationships with both himself and others, expressing discoveries from love and togetherness, to the anxieties and pressures of keeping things afloat.'
