Summary
Mr Fox steals food from the three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean for his family. Therefore, the three farmers plan to capture and kill them. The fox family escape by burrowing deep into the ground. Soon, they are all starving because the three farmers were waiting upside of them every day. They couldn't have any chance to get out of the tunnel to steal the food. Afterwards, Mr fox has an idea to dig tunnels to the homes of the farmers. Mr Fox found their home and asked Mrs Fox to prepare a banquet for other starving animals too. At the end of the story, Mr Fox invites all animals to live with them in underground and would provide them food and homes. They all live happily and safely ever after while those farmers remain waiting above them.
Quote
“I understand what you're saying, and your comments are valuable, but I'm gonna ignore your advice.”
This quote captured my eye as it reminds me to be myself. We might listen to other people's advice but I think we should think it twice before an action starts.
Best Scene
My favourite scene of the story is the scene of Mr Fox, Badger and the small fox working hard to dig the tunnels together. Their team spirit inspired me. Working together with other people would be better than working alone. It teaches me that friends are the one who would like to help and face the adversity with you. We should treasure them.
