YEAR 6 SATs
We are so proud of our Year 6s for how they have tackled the SATs this week. They have had a fantastic attitude and worked really hard. We hope they all have a relaxing weekend after all the effort they have put in.
We were pleased to give out the leavers hoodies to the children today.

JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
During the week commencing Monday 23rd June we will be having a dedicated Jubilee week with lots of learning focused on the Jubilee. VAPING
Out of duty of care for our school community we would like to make you aware of recent issues we have had reported to us around vaping.
In response to this, Years 4-6 have all been spoken to about the dangers associated with vaping. We have made it clear to the children what the consequences would be should a vape be brought into school. A fixed term exclusion will be applied to any child who does this. We have also made arrangements for the Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) to speak with the children and very much value your support in giving this same message to your child.

UNIFORM DONATIONS
If you have any uniform items that your children have outgrown and are still in wearable condition, we would be very grateful if you would be willing to donate them. Please bring in any items to school so that we can redistribute them to other families. Donating uniform is also a great way to recycle!

PE & UNIFORM
Please can we remind parents that children should come to school in their PE kit on their designated PE days. They need appropriately labelled PE kit consisting of the following:
White t-shirt and dark shorts (No pockets in the shorts and no pockets, collar or buttons on the t-shirt please as they could be dangerous on the apparatus) A plain, dark coloured track suit or jogging trousers can be worn along with their usual school jumper for warmth; there is no need for something separate. No hoodies please. Sensible trainers should also be worn.
A new PE tracksuit will also be available soon – we are finalising the arrangements for this at present.
Uniform should be worn on all other days. Our school uniform consists of: Royal blue jumper/cardigan, blue or white shirt or polo shirt , grey or dark trousers or skirt. Sensible shoes should be worn.
Please can we also remind you that pupils should not have unnaturally dyed hair or extreme haircuts.

FAMILY BRAIN TEASER
Today's teaser:
How can you place a pencil on the floor so that no one can jump over it?
Did you figure out the riddle from last time? When is 1500 plus 20 and 1600 minus 40 the same thing? When the numbers represent time - the answers would both be 3.20pm.
