Santa Maria docks at Wilmington Harbor The ship is on a journey around America commemorating the 1492 expedition.

U.S. Coast Guard officers leave the ship after checking in with the crew Thursday morning.
The ship's head of logistics, Angel Rosa. "I always heard in school that these guys came to America in a nutshell," Rosa said. "And I can tell you that this is like a nutshell, yes."
