Raising Retention Rates in the Workplace with LinkedIn Learning blogpost

Congratulations! You've Got the Job. . . Now What? If you are are like many other recent graduates, you may have already begun to apply and interview for jobs in Corporate America.

New environments, roles, and responsibilities aren't the only things to worry about. We also are facing challenges as society continues to adapt to the "new normal" of remote working and learning. Social and professional gaps, such as: "low interaction with colleagues, and less engagement that provide connection and understanding" arise and can make it difficult to adjust and remain into the workplace.

To help eliminate these challenges, LinkedIn Learning offers a workplace mentorship program. This program allows newly hired employees to connect with veteran employees to provide personalized, first hand, insight on their experiences. Additionally, subjects will be matched according to location, interests, skills, and positions.

A workplace mentorship program would be beneficial to newly hired employees by providing:

in-depth training

support

advice

direction

motivation

connection

This type of mentorship is a great investment to ensure the retention and success of your organization.
