He is best known for his harshly edited prints that were so edited they looked like they had been painted.
What process are they known for?
Robert done alot of Pictorial work using aesthetic movement - a style which is manipulated to make it look more complex than it actually was when taking it. The technique is seen to lack in a sharp focus unlike most photographs and can be printed in one or more colours, not just black and white. This makes it look more like a painting than a picture.
