As we kick off the New Year, we want to help you set personal learning goals to help you grow into an even more outstanding educator. Let's make 2023 a year of epic successes by completing the 23 Tech Tool Challenge!
If you choose to accept the challenge you will use the Challenge List to select tasks to complete. Once you complete a challenge, you will submit it here to earn your badges and points.
The challenges vary from creating a personalized email signature to leading your school in learning how to use cool tech tools like Wakelet, Flip, Nearpod & Newsela. Some things you'll have heard of before and some might be completely new. Each of these challenges were designed to help you integrate technology authentically into your everyday practices. Try new things, hone your skills on old tools, you wont be disappointed if you accept the challenge.
Earn your way to being Technology Proficiency through Digital Badging! By completing each technology challenges, you will earn digital badges for your time and work. Track your status from this site and compete with your colleagues. Make earning and learning FUN!!!
The Rules
- First, this is totally optional (we promise though that you will grow professional and who doesn't love having fun too!)
- Only one badge per challenge, can't earn the same badge twice!
- Each challenge submission has to be unique - no repeats!
- Points and badges will be updated monthly
- Challenges must be completed during the 2023 Calendar year!
- Some Challenges may be the same but to get the new badge you still have to complete the challenge
Incentive
- We have a leaderboard!
- Certificate for levels of completion: Bronze - 75 points, Silver - 125 Points, Gold - 175 points, Platinum 250 points, Double Platinum 400
- Pride and Joy in learning new skills and ways to integrate technology in the classroom
- Add badges and certificates for your Teacher Evaluation
- Monthly Prizes (Every completed challenge will enter you into the monthly drawing. The drawing will take place around the 28th of every month, the winner will be chosen at random. There will be video proof of this posted in the Schoology Resources Course during the updates.)
