End of term events
Secondary Sports Day
The wonderful camaraderie and spirit of our students, again shone through at the secondary sports day. Everyone gave their full effort to each event, always encouraged and cheered on by their teammates. There were smiles all round as they competed in basketball, football, shot-putt, tug of war and the final relays. This year the team winners’ cup went to the Yellow team. Congratulations to all students for your efforts and great sportsmanship. Thank you Mr Mike and Mr Martin for bringing the joy of sport to all.
University Workshops:
Mr James has guided and supported our IB students in successfully gaining places at Universities around the world over the past two years In August 2023.
He is already looking ahead to next term, and will be hosting workshops for parents, plus regular open house drop-in sessions from 3:30pm to 4:30pm every Monday. These sessions are open to parents and students from any year group. Please contact Mr James by email to discuss plans for university entry: james.b@huahinschool.com .
Summer Concert
The summer concert was an absolute delight. We were privileged to hear instrumental performances of the highest calibre interminged with the beauty and joy of choral singing from all the different year groups. Thank you to the enigmatic MCs, Ellie and Naris and to Ms Neina for inspiring our students to attain such heights.
Swimming Competition at Singapore International School
Well done to all of our competitors who finished off the season with a bang. It was HHIS Swim Squad's biggest field of swimmers ever and their hard work in the pool is paying off. The heat winner ribbons and overall medals gained, show how far they have come this year. Thank you to K Pla and Mr Martin for their support for the team.
Primary ECA Show
We were all delighted by the singing and dancing of KS1 and 2 children who performed with such aplomb. They have been working hard in their ECAs to develop their skills and were so confident on the stage. They will definitely inspire even more students to join the Dancing and Singing ECAs next term.
KS1 Art Auction Fundraiser
The children were thrilled to deliver cheques of 12,000thb in person to Mr Edwin from WWFT and to Holly from Rescue Paws. The funds will enable a tiger to be rescued from North Thailand and brought back to WWFT Rescue Centre. Rescue Paws will use the funds raised by the children to rescue dogs from Myanmar. Thank you to the parents for helping the children to make an immediate difference to the lives of animals.
Final Week
As this is now my final week as Headteacher of HHIS I would like to give a heartfelt thank you for your support over the years. It has been a joy and privilege to be part of such a warm and thriving school community. I wish Ms Beccy well and know that the school and the wonderful HHIS community will continue to flourish under her care.

วันกีฬาสีชั้นมัธยมศึกษา
มิตรภาพที่ยอดเยี่ยมและจิตวิญญาณของนักเรียนเกิดขึ้นอีกครั้งในงานวันกีฬาสีระดับชั้นมัธยม ทุกๆ คนมีความพยายามเต็มเปี่ยมในแต่ละกิจกรรม มีส่วนร่วมและให้กำลังใจผู้ร่วมทีม กิจกรรมเต็มไปด้วยรอยยิ้ม พวกเขาได้แข่งขันกีฬาบาสเกตบอล ฟุตบอล ชักเย่อ และวิ่งผลัด โดยปีนี้ทีมที่ชนะเลิศและได้รับถ้วยรางวัลได้แก่ ทีมสีเหลือง ขอแสดงความยินดีสำหรับนักเรียนทุกคนที่มีความพยายามและมีน้ำใจนักกีฬา ขอขอบคุณ Mr Mike และ Mr Martin สำหรับการจัดงานกีฬาสีที่สนุกสนานครั้งนี้
เวิร์คชอปมหาวิทยาลัย
Mr James มีคำแนะนำและสนับสนุนนักเรียนชั้น IB ให้ประสบความสำเร็จในการเข้าศึกษาต่อในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยทั่วโลกในช่วง 2 ปีที่ผ่านมา ในเดือนสิงหาคม 2566
เขาได้ศึกษาข้อมูลในภาคการศึกษาถัดไป และจะจัดเวิร์คชอปสำหรับผู้ปกครอง พร้อมทั้งเปิดบ้านในโรงเรียนช่วงเวลา 15.30-15.30 น. ทุกๆ วันจันทร์ โดยการจัดนี้ เปิดให้ผู้ปกครองและนักเรียนทุกๆ ระดับชั้นเรียนได้เข้าร่วม กรุณาติดต่อ Mr James ทางอีเมล หากผู้ปกครองต้องการวางแผนการศึกษาต่อในระดับมหาวิทยาลัยให้แก่นักเรียน james.b@huahinschool.com .
ซัมเมอร์ คอนเสิร์ต
การจัดงานซัมเมอร์คอนเสิร์ตนั้นประสบความสำเร็จอย่างดีเยี่ยม พวกเราได้รับสิทธิพิเศษในการรับฟังการแสดงดนตรีระดับสูงผสมผสานกับความสวยงามและความสนุกสนาน พร้อมทั้งความสนุกสนานในการร้องเพลงประสานเสียงจากนักเรียนแต่ละชั้นปี ขอขอบคุณพิธีกร Ellie และ Naris และ Ms Neina สำหรับแรงบันดาลใจให้แก่นักเรียนก้าวไปสู่จุดสูงสุด
การแข่งขันว่ายน้ำ ณ โรงเรียนนานาชาติสิงคโปร์
นักกีฬาว่ายน้ำทุกคนทำได้ยอดเยี่ยมมากที่จบการแข่งขันว่ายน้ำได้อย่างดี มีนักกีฬาว่ายน้ำของโรงเรียนเราเพิ่มมากขึ้น และมีความพยายามอย่างหนักในการแข่งขันว่ายน้ำ พวกเขาได้รับเหรียญรางวัลและโบว์ ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่า พวกเขามีความสามารถในการว่ายน้ำได้ไกลมากแค่ไหนในปีนี้ ขอขอบคุณครูปลา และ Mr Martin สำหรับการสนับสนุนทีมนักกีฬาว่ายน้ำ
การแสดง ECA ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา
เรามีความยินดีที่นักเรียนชั้น KS1 และ KS2 ได้แสดงการร้องเพลงและเต้นอย่างมั่นใจ พวกเขาฝึกซ้อมอย่างหนักในการเรียน ECAs เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะและความมั่นใจบนเวที พวกเขายังสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้แก่นักเรียนคนอื่นๆ เพื่อที่จะลงทะเบียนเรียนการร้องเพลงและการเต้นในภาคการศึกษาถัดไป
หอศิลป์แห่งชาติกรุงลอนดอน - นิทรรศการของนักเรียนชั้น Y3
หากผู้ปกครองได้มีโอกาสไปกรุงลอนดอนในช่วงปิดภาคการศึกษา ตั้งแต่วันที่ 13 กรกฎาคม 2566 เป็นต้นไป โปรดไปเยี่ยมชม หอศิลป์แห่งชาติกรุงลอนดอน เพื่อชมผลงานนิทรรศการของนักเรียนชั้น Y3 ที่ภูมิใจนำเสนอ
นักเรียนชั้น KS1 ระดมทุนการประมูลงานศิลปะ
เด็กๆ ตื่นเต้นที่ได้มอบเช็คจำนวน 12,000 บาท ให้แก่ Mr Edwin จากมูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า และ Holly จาก ทำหมันหมาจร โดยกองทุนนี้จะช่วยเหลือเสือโคร่งทางภาคเหนือของประเทศไทย และนำกลับมาสู่มูลนิธิเพื่อนสัตว์ป่า สำหรับทำหมันหมาจรจะนำเงินที่ได้รับจากเด็กๆ ไปช่วยสุนัขในประเทศพม่า ขอขอบคุณผู้ปกครองสำหรับการสนับสนุนเด็กๆ และช่วยสร้างความแตกต่างให้แก่ชีวิตของสัตว์
สัปดาห์สุดท้าย
ตามที่ผู้ปกครองทราบว่าสัปดาห์นี้เป็นสัปดาห์สุดท้ายของดิฉัน ในการดำรงตำแหน่งครูใหญ่ของโรงเรียนนานาชาติหัวหิน ดิฉันอยากขอขอบคุณทุกท่านจากใจจริง สำหรับการช่วยสนับสนุนตลอดเวลาหลายปีที่ผ่านมา ดิฉันมีความสุขมากและได้รับสิทธิพิเศษในการเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง ทั้งความอบอุ่นและความเจริญเติบโต ดิฉันขออวยพรให้ Ms Beccy ประสบความสำเร็จ และโรงเรียนนานาชาติหัวหินจะดำเนินต่อไปอย่างยอดเยี่ยมภายใต้การดูแลของเธอ
