For the 2022 wearable art gala I will be contributing my digital art work titled “Jammin at the Savoy Part III”.
(Does not need to be minted into a NFT) This artwork has the intention to be a minted 1of1 NFT in a private sell during the auction to help onboard art collectors to the NTF web3 meta verse. In the NFT smart contract Education and different files types would be made available. “Jamin at the Savoy part 3” can be a static digital piece and/or animated digital inside a digital frame. It can also be owned as a print.
Jamin at the savoy part 3 is inspired by Harlem Renaissance artist Romare Bearden and Aron Douglas. The color palette, subject, and style of Romare Bearden has molded my aesthetic in my current art.

OkMs. Courtney Savoy Harper was born in Washington, DC and raised in Columbia, MD and currently lives back in the DC area with her husband and son. She went to Hampton University to follow her love of the arts and never fell out of love continuing her education at George Washington University studying art education. Art education is Courtney’s lifelong passion and is currently preparing for year 16 as an art teacher at Coolidge high school in DCPS. Courtney is a practicing art professional in the DMV area that specializes in mural illustrations and company branding. Her work can be found on 85 feet school walls and embassies in our nation’s capital. Community is important to Ms. Savoy Harper. She is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The funder and founder of the annual Savoy Legacy Scholarship; and Jack and Jill of America. Courtney’s commitment to the community is a priority. Courtneys social business-driven approach separates her from other educators, she breaks the saying “ those who can’t do, teach”. Courtney Savoy Harper will not be limited and believes you can do it all.
