Ode to my phone by: Nate Jones

Ode to my phone

Thanks to my phone I can live happily

The phone is the best invention

That has come to my attention

It is there when I need it

So I don't throw a fit

I can stay in touch with friends

While i'm riding in a benz

But when it dies

I can hear its cries

Like its about to disappear

But after it's plugged in

The screen reappears

For i am joyous that my phone is working

I can not live without it

Or else i would have to nit

Ode to my phone or else I would be bored everyday

Without it I would be writing an essay

But if I crack my screen I will pay

Thanks to my phone

My phone has great ability

And teaches me responsibility

But if my phone falls

I won’t make anymore calls

And I will end up playing with dolls

For my social media is done

Which means no more fun

I feel bad for the settlers

Always making letters

Instead of sending a text

To see what they say next

Thanks to my phone
