Project Description:

This mixed-use, health and wellness facility is positioned at the heart of a first-phase development. The uniquely purpose-driven building design defies the routine expectations of typical big box fitness centers and delivers a tailored approach to whole-person health for members of all ages and skill.

These diverse uses, housed in three levels under a single roof, include: a full-court gymnasium with capabilities for basketball, volleyball, badminton and pickleball; a 1/12-mile indoor walk/jog/sprint track; a 5,900-square-foot turf field; a dedicated children’s activity area with curriculum-based wellness programming; a Metabolic Health and Human Performance Lab; club programs and activities overseen by a medical advisory committee; an aquatic center featuring separate family, therapy and lap pools, as well as a whirlpool; 5,500 square feet devoted to a Mind-Body Zone and Spa focused on overall wellbeing through a variety of yoga classes, Pilates, sound healing, barre and meditation; a premier indoor golf training and performance lab; and an expansive climbing gym with the tallest lead terrain climbing wall in the region and 6,000 square feet of climbing terrain with 165 linear feet of bouldering.

This facility is also home to the latest smart building technology. The facility incorporates 17,500 square feet of smart windows that proactively tint in response to outdoor conditions, eliminating the need for blinds, while also offering health and wellness benefits for club members and the environment. The club also features AV light technology that continuously cleans and recirculates the air.

The project sets a new standard for how design can drive business success through inspirational user experience, supreme functionality, careful attention to detail and affordable esthetic enrichment inside and out.
