Content Info For The Week
Math (Carver, Beasley, and Meeks):
This week students will be reviewing solving multi-step inequalities to prepare them for solving and graphing linear inequalities. We will be graphing linear inequalities by the end of the week.
Field trip Friday for those who are signed up.
Algebra I (Meeks):
Students will tackle statistics review on Monday. EOC review Tuesday and Wednesday. EOC on Thursday. Friday we will end our statistic unit with our study guide.

Read 180 (Styron and Barker):
This week in R180 students will continue to work towards meeting individual goals set within the R180 system by completing individualized App segments and Independent Reading Work. In addition, we will continue reading the class novel The Last Mirror on the Left. Students will complete the Georgia Studies GMAS test this week on Tuesday May 3.
ELA (MacArthur and Lee):
This week in Mr. MacArthur's class, students will begin making revisions to their first draft of Performance Task 3. Additionally, students will finish up their work on the "Change My Mind" group projects, so that we can present them later this week.
This week in Mrs. Lee's class, we will finish up our informational essays. The essays will be due Wednesday, May 4. We will review and prepare for our Unit 3 test on Thursday, May 5.
9th Grade Lit (Lee):
This week in Mrs. Lee's class, students will begin reading Animal Farm. We will take a look at how Orwell's work compares to the events of the Russian Revolution, as well as to common systems of government. We will have our Unit 3 Test on Friday, May 6.
Science (Winkworth and Herndon):
For the remainder of the School Year, students will be building paper rollercoasters out of card stock and tape. They will utilize the principles of Newton's Laws of Motion, Potential and Kinetic Energy, and Gravity to design a rollercoaster that does loops, jumps, turns, drops and all sorts of fun features.
Social Studies (MacArthur and Collier):
Georgia Studies will be finishing review and taking their state test this week. The week will finish with the beginnings of a new project!
