Spring is here! Easter is April 9th. Outdoor activities will resume with warmer weather. Things to do in the White Mountains will begin to pick back up. Summer is just around the corner. We are getting back to the time of year when we all enjoy outdoor life here!

TOWN COUNCIL NEWS: The regular Council Meeting was held on Wednesday 03/15/23 at 6:00pm. The regular April Council Meeting will be held on 04/19/23 at 6:00pm.

PLANNING AND ZONING: There was no P & Z Meeting in March. The April P & Z Meeting will be held on Tuesday 04/11/23 at 6:00pm.

CURRENT JOB POSTINGS:

  • The Town of Springerville Police Department is now accepting applications and resumes for Police Academy Cadets. These are full-time non-exempt positions under FLSA. Selected applicants will attend the police academy to become a sworn officer. The hourly pay is $20.55 during the academy.   • Town of Springerville Police Department is now accepting applications and resumes for Lateral Police Officers. These are full-time non-exempt positions under FLSA.   • The Town of Springerville is accepting applications for an airport attendant. This position reports directly to the Airport Manager. Responsibilities include delivering personalized customer service experience to private and business aviation clientele while providing a variety of aircraft ground services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing and other ground support as necessary. This position performs the operation of ground service equipment such as aircraft tugs and fuel trucks. He or she is required to carry, answer and respond to a 24-hour call-out phone. The hourly range is $15.54 - $18.02 DOE and will work around 20 hours a week. This position is non-exempt under FLSA.   • The Town of Springerville is accepting applications for a Planning and Zoning Director/Building Inspector. This is a full-time, exempt position that reports directly to the Town Manager. Responsibilities include the overall program development, implementation, operation, monitoring and evaluation of all programs of the Planning and Zoning Department. The Director shall enforce the laws governing the zoning and building ordinances, serve as the code enforcement official and accomplish all administrative actions required by the ordinance.
