Cyberbullying BY shelby Cleveland

What is this...

"Cyber bullying" is when a teen is tormented, threatened, harassed, humiliated, embarrassed or otherwise targeted by another person. These bullies usually happen over the internet. The children being the bully usually are on social media such as instagram, twitter, and facebook.

43% of teens on twitter are bullied
54% of people on Facebook are effected by cyberbullying
60% of teens on Instagram have been cyberbullied

Prevention and Protection

Don't follow people you know that are mean or you know are bullies. Not having social media will all together stop you from being bullied. If you are a bystander stand up for the people who are not able too.

Protect your friends who need help standing up. Don't allow others to bring you or others down. When protecting you save lives. A girl named Amanda Todd was in an online situation with a man that got her bullied and she killed herself with bleach.

Amanda Todd died on October 10, 2012
