Fun in the sun. Week 6 - Term 3a

Worms, mud, digging, climbing and hiding.
Working with partners to solve subtractions problems.
Great fun in the relay teams this week. Mr Walker organised the children into groups, they had to work collaboratively to carry water. They were so excited and not many got wet! The cars were also a big hit. Developing fine motor skills, racing and comparing speed and distance.
Subtraction stories outside with magic paintbrushes. We are really good at responding to real life stories, recording and solving the problem.
Listening and thinking about our emotions and feelings. We made colour feeling jars, which they really enjoyed. We thought about different ways we could solve problems independently as well as how we feel in different situations.
Lots of exploration this week. We have been inspired by the character of Lola. She went around the world on an adventure to locate orchids. At Forest School we found lots of flowers. We looked closely at them discussed their habitats, shapes and sizes.
More work for the King. He wanted a new garden he called upon our help. We designed the gardens and drew plans when he arrives.
Thank you to the lovely parents and carers that came to school on Wednesday morning. It was so lovely to see you all. We shared our story Eco Girl and then planted seeds, designed posters, made family trees and designed Lego gardens. Thank you.
