I am the owner of Alli Murphy Photography, a premier boudoir studio located in a Gold Coast Mansion on Long Island, New York and our newly opened second location near Las Vegas, Nevada.
Through a passion for photography, a passion to empower and a desire to help women discover their inner and outer beauty, I have cultivated a strong business presence helping women in the area to truly believe in their beauty.

BEFORE YOUR SESSION: Before booking, you are welcome to book a phone consultation so that we can help you with any questions that you may have! Boudoir sessions are intimate both emotionally and physically - we want you to know you are in the best of hands with our team!
BOOK YOUR SESSION: If you do not have any questions, or our lovely staff has already helped to answer the questions that you did have, you can book directly online!
YOUR SESSION: Your experience with us begins from the moment you enter our studio. Our entirely female staff will make you feel comfortable and assist with your needs throughout the session. Our studio is structured to ensure your privacy. NO MEN ARE ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO (couples sessions available but must be prepaid.)
VIEWING YOUR IMAGES: Within two weeks, you will come back to see your edited images! This is when we will assist you in narrowing down to your favorites! We will pick out the perfect product that fits your desires and guide you through how to present them to your sig. other or where to display them in your home! Our products are available for you to touch and feel so that you can make the best decision for YOU! Viewing appointments vary by week but are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
HAIR AND MAKEUP
You didn't think we were going to leave you hanging, did you? No way! Half the fun of a boudoir session at Alli Murphy Photography is the part where you get pampered!
We bring in a team of hair and makeup artists to get you looking and feeling -- absolutely gorgeous from head to toe. This is a complimentary service that's included in your package.
One of the top fears when preparing for a boudoir session is...
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
What is the look you are going for? Sweet? Sexy? Sporty? Themed? Fantasy?
Think VARIETY. One outfit with a thong, the next with a boy short. One outfit with a corset or underwire bra, the next a bodysuit! We love to photograph you in anything YOU think is sexy, or nothing at all!
Alway choose outfits would be most flattering for your body type. If you have lots of ideas and outfits and you’re having trouble narrowing them down, then we always recommend you bring more to your session than you think you may need. Many clients even bring a suitcase full of stuff!
Accentuate your assets. Are you doing this for someone? What is their favorite feature of yours? Make sure that YOU feel sexy. If your belly makes you feel self-conscious, get creative with a corset, baby doll or bodysuit! Your confidence will bleed through your images, so feeling comfortable is important. Make sure to try your lingerie on first to ensure it fits properly.
We always suggest that the lingerie/outfits your bring are interesting to really make your boudoir session special.
MUST HAVES: Shoes - the higher the better, accessories and thigh highs!
SUGGESTIONS: Matching bra and panty sets, bodysuits, a garter belt with thigh highs, favorite sports team gear, work shirt and tie, crop tops, corset, high-waisted undies
NO NOs: Oversized shirts, dresses, t-shirts, corsets without structure
Don't forget Bridal Lingerie, engagement ring, wedding jewelry, wedding shoes, GARTER and veil.

IS RETOUCHING INCLUDED?
Many women have fears when coming into the studio regarding retouching! Our clients love us because we know how to make you look flawless without making you look like a plastic barbie doll. We simply remove unwanted blemishes and leave the image looking like your beautiful self!
Removal of acne, stretch marks, and cellulite is part of the retouching process.
PREPARE FOR YOUR SHOOT
MAKEUP
Save a photo of a makeup style that you would like to recreate. Please, come with your face makeup free. Daily moisturizer is okay!
HAIR
Your hair must be clean and completely dry. It is best to wash your hair the day before your boudoir session.
NAILS
Please, have your fingernails and toenails manicured! No nail polish is fine, too!
NO SELF TANNER/SPRAY TANS
If you show up with a spray tan or self tanner you will be asked to reschedule your session. It is extremely difficult to photoshop tan lines and we will not accommodate this during the retouching process. PLUS it can be damaging to our sets.
WAXING/SHAVING
If you will be waxing or shaving, please do so at least 24-48 hours before your session so as to avoid any red marks or irritation.
ALLERGIES
Please, notify us of any allergies or product sensitivities you may have.
HOW SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Do not wear any clothes with elastic or anything tight fitting. We recommend going commando and bra free to avoid leaving any marks on your body. That includes hair bands, watches, or socks. A slip-on dress, loose shirt, or yoga pants are the best way to avoid any unwanted marks.

WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
It is never too early to schedule your boudoir session, especially if you need your images by a certain date. We can sometimes accommodate last minute sessions but the absolute latest you should book your session is 10-12 weeks before you need your images. We book up quickly, so planning ahead is best! Keepsakes need to be laid out, printed and shipped, so consider 12 weeks the optimal amount of time if you want printed products.
WHERE DOES MY SESSION TAKE PLACE?
Our studio in New York is located at 203 Store Hill Road, Old Westbury, NY.
HOW LONG WILL I BE AT THE STUDIO?
Plan to be here up to 3 hours!
- Makeup and hair takes 60 to 90 minutes
- Photo session is 1 hour
- Time buffer for giggling :P
WILL YOU HELP ME WITH POSING?
Most of the ladies that you see on our website are not models. They were all guided and posed. During your session, we will tell you exactly what to do, where to place your hands, where to look, and what to do. It may feel awkward at first but trust us, the results always come out looking amazing!
DO I HAVE TO BRING MY OWN OUTFITS AND PROPS?
Yes! You bring your own outfits.
Everyones vision of “sexy” is completely different. This is your chance to be creative with your outfits and prop choices. Have fun shopping in your own closet for your favorite pieces or hit the stores! Make sure your outfit selections reflect your theme, include variety, and are comfortable.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND TO THE SHOOT?
We feel more free without an audience... therefore should you arrive with a friend they will be asked to wait in the waiting area during the shoot.
CAN I BRING MY PARTNER OR SPOUSE TO THE SHOOT?
At this time NO SPOUSES are allowed on set unless you are doing a couples session.
WHEN WILL I SEE MY PHOTOS?
Within two weeks of your boudoir session, you will come in for your viewing and ordering session. At that time you will see all of your images lightly edited and choose the images/products you want to purchase. Viewing appointments are scheduled by your photographer after you finish your shoot.
Depending on the products you have purchased we will go over your order together for any additional edits that need to be made and you will see a proof of the item before it goes out to be created and delivered to you. A few weeks later your gorgeous purchases will arrive for you to pick up.
MY PRIVACY IS IMPORTANT DO YOU POST EVERY PICTURE?
No! Never! Your photos will be kept completely private unless you give consent to release them. After your viewing and ordering session you will have the option to be featured on our blog and in our marketing materials if you so desire. Every client signs a model release and chooses how much they’re comfortable sharing.
WHAT IS THE ETIQUETTE FOR TIPPING?
Our hair and makeup staff work diligently to ensure a relaxing glam experience, so while gratuity is not required, it is appreciated!
CAN I USE THESE IMAGES FOR COMMERCIAL USE?
A commercial license can be purchased for an additional fee.
Pricing and Packages
As a bride, you get special pricing on your Alli Murphy photography shoot!
Our typical pricing is $250 for your creative fee + the cost of images (buy only what you love)...but with the bridal promotion the creative fee is waived completely, plus you get $250 off our a la carte menu or $500 off our collections! Scroll down for collection details. You will choose your package at your reveal when you've seen your photos - all that is needed to book is a $100 deposit that will go directly towards your total purchase!
What is included with the creative fee?
Time and talent of the photographer, professional retouching, pre and post photoshoot consultations, complimentary hair, makeup, styling and wardrobe consultation and a personal viewing appointment to select your images and products.
The creative fee is non-refundable.
IMAGES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE CREATIVE FEE
Shoot Timeline
- 60 minutes for your hair and makeup glam session
- 60 minutes for your personalized photo shoot
- 60 minutes viewing and ordering session (This will be set for two weeks or less after your session)
Your Order
You buy only what you love!! Our minimum purchase is $999. We do offer payment plans however you must be prepared to make a payment the day of your photo reveal. Unpurchased images will not be saved.
Our clients always joke that they don’t know how they’re going to choose because they love them all! We think that’s a good problem to have! But, we want to assure to you that we’ll totally help you to narrow them down to your favorites.
Once we’ve narrowed them down, we will figure out which package works best for you, and the products you would like to purchase!
You will receive your digital files of any images that you purchase WITHIN 7 DAYS OF YOUR PURCHASE.
For example, if you purchase 30 of your favorite photos in an album then you will receive those same 30 photos digitally.

We will split your payment up into payments that are comfortable for you. We require 15% down as a minimum at the time of your photo reveal. You will not receive your images until you are paid in full.

PayPal Credit offers 6 months of no interest/no payment option. You are able to pay for your order in full upon approval and get the products you love right away.

Been wanting to save for your boudoir experience but find yourself spending your money as quick as you make it? With our Boudie Bank account you can book your session and then pay monthly installments before your shoot allowing you to have your products paid for by the time of your reveal resulting in you receiving your products after your reveal instead of waiting to complete your payment plans.
