You may wonder: How can such a diverse group of people really form a community? Well, we see it like this: Picture a single tapestry thread, that can be woven into many rows. But it’s limited; it cannot create pictures or patterns on its own. By adding more threads, the tapestry expands and becomes more colourful, with intricate details.
TDR Global is special in the same way because it is made up of many individuals – each with their own expertise, culture and background, together creating a bigger, more powerful picture. A picture that connects individuals that share a field of interest, expert mentors with young scientists, and local research communities with global and regional networks.
