Propaganda
Propaganda is a false advertising. It is to pusuade to to follow something bad. Hitler used propaganda to get people to follow him. He promised great vacations and and short job days. Instead he did the opposite.
Anne Frank
Anne Frank was a funny girl even when she was in hiding. Anne was thirteen when she went into hiding and was fifteen when she was taken away. During hiding with the Pels Anne had likings for their only son Peter Van Pel. Her diary was filled with descriptions of people, but nobody truly knew how Anne thought.
Otto Frank
Otto Frank was a leader, but also a nice man in general. Along with his family he let another family and another man go into hiding with him. Otto felt he was really close to Anne. He homeschooled Anne and Margot because they could not send them to a public school.
Fritz Pfeffer
He was the man that shared a room with Anne Frank. Fritz Pfeffer was born on April 30, 1889. His parents were Jewish and had a store in the city. Anne does not like him so everyone sees him as a bad man.
Peter Van Pels
Peter was the boy that Anne liked. He was the son of the other family in hiding. Peter was born on 8 November 1926. He was an only child. He was more of a lonely child.
Act 1 summary
Act 1 was more of an introduction to the characters. The Frank family goes into hiding along with the Van Dans. The live in the attic of their spice business where they have to be quiet all day until all of the workers leave. Later on Mr. Dussel is introduced and they take him in and he rooms with Anne. Anne does not like Mr.Dussel One night there was a robbery and the thief heard noises coming from upstairs and got spooked yet they still managed to steal money and a radio. Later a worker started to ask for money. We learned the Mrs. Van Daan is flirting with Mr. Frank in front of everybody. In the end of act 1 Peter and Anne seem to have found their own spark.
