#SaferInternetDay will be celebrated on 8 February 2022. Children will be investigating ways to keep our school community safe on the internet.

Our Best

Covid-19 Update
Unfortunately, this week we have had several positive Covid cases in school. We will continue to be cautious with the highest level of Covid measures in place to keep everyone safe.
We ask that you look out for the following three key symptoms of COVID-19 in your child:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- loss or change to their sense of smell or taste
If your child has any of these three key symptoms, please do not send your child to school and arrange a PCR test for them immediately. You can book a PCR test online through the NHS website at gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or by calling 119. Anyone else in your household with any of these three key symptoms should also isolate and take a PCR test.

Children under 5 do not need to take a PCR or a LFT, even if they have COVID-19 symptoms. They can take a test if a doctor advises it, or if a parent believes a test is absolutely necessary and in the best interests of a child.
We do have a stock of LFT kits in school of any parents want us to send them home with your child, please email school.
Please inform school if your child has any symptoms or tests positive with a lateral flow or PCR test. Thank you to everyone for following our Covid rules and working hard to keep our school community safe and well.
Year 5/6 First Aid Training
Year 5/6 have been busy in class learning about first aid training and they have putting their important new skills into practice.
Candlemas - 2nd February
On Wednesday 2nd February, we celebrated Candlemas during our Junior Collective Worship. Candlemas is celebrated 40 days after the birth of Jesus. It marks the date when Mary and Joseph brought the baby Jesus to be presented to God in the temple.
