Hello! Happy New Year! I hope that you enjoyed a fabulous Christmas and New Year and that your plans were not too disrupted. It has been wonderful to welcome children back to school this week - it is great to see them so ready to learn and get back into their school routines. Just a few updates for you this week:
Well done to Y3/4M and Y3/4R for having the highest attendance this week - both classes have 100%!
In preparation for our summer production of 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road', Music and Drama rehearsals resume on Tuesday 11th January. New members are welcome. To attend, children need to have a completed and signed consent form - these are being handed to children but please ask at the school office if you need another copy. Rehearsal time is 3:15 to 4:30 every Tuesday. Extra details are on the letter to children and the dates for the shows and special rehearsals are in the dates section of the newsletter below.
To support our school community to help to keep everyone safe online, we'll be sharing useful information about popular apps and sites, this week is Fortnite Chapter 3 - see below.
Monday 28th February 2022 will be an INSET (staff training) day.
Please note that we have an additional ONE INSET day to be taken during the rest of the academic year which is yet to be decided. We will inform you of this with plenty of notice.
The school photographer is in school on Wednesday 2nd March 2022.
SPRING HALF TERM Holidays starts - Monday 21 February 2022 Back to school - Tuesday 1st March 2022 (Monday 28th February is an INSET day).
EASTER Holiday starts - Monday 11 April 2022 Back to school - Monday 25 April 2022
SUMMER HALF TERM Holiday starts - Monday 30 May 2022 Back to school - Monday 6 June 2022
SUMMER Holiday starts 21 July 2022, children will return to school on either the 1st or 2nd September 2022 (though this is subject to change once INSET days are decided).

Music and Drama Key Dates:
Saturday 25th June 9:30-4 Dress Rehearsal
Friday 1st July 1:30 - Performance to the school. 7:00 Evening Performance
Saturday 2nd July 2:00 - Matinee Performance. 7:00 Evening Performance
