My name is Atto and I love all things speed and racing! I started kart racing in mid-2020 and I am always working hard to improve my speed and race-skills.
Great Results for 2022....
In January 2022 I won my first major trophy, winning the Auckland 'City of Sails' event in Cadet Class, followed by a 2nd place in the KartSport CIK Trophy of New Zealand in February 2022.
In March 2022 I moved up a class, to race with the 10-13 year olds running in the Vortex Mini-Rok field. I made a great start with several race wins, podiums and fastest laps...achieving a win in my first Mini-Rok race, winning the Rotorua Club Points Series 2022 and receiving the Kartsport Rotorua Junior Driver of the Year Award 2022.
2023 Race Plans
Unfortunately my plans for 2023, which included City of Sails in January and the CIK Trophy of New Zealand in February, have been disrupted by a broken wrist and hand sustained in a karting accident on Day 1 of City of Sails 2023. I had qualified 8th out of 34 racers and was looking forward to competing for the title!
Once I recover, I am hoping to continue racing in the North Island, including Club Days at Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua, Tokoroa and Bay of Plenty, as well as the Sulphur City Champs in Rotorua, National Schools Champs and North Island Champs in Wellington.
I'm also planning to continue to build my online racing profile through competing in iRacing (with a focus on NASCAR and GT3) and AMS2 in open-wheel races.
I'm also excited to be planning to take part in a race event over in England sometime in the mid-year....

The events and travel that we undertake around the North Island provide a great opportunity for advertising and promotion of your business.
This year and beyond, my travel will hopefully expand to include other North Island tracks such as Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Taranaki and Wellington, and further to tracks in the South Island from Nelson to Invercargill.
