Three streams designed to provide a bespoke level of training to cadets of all experience levels from across the Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
Stream 1 - No Experience
Stream 1 aims to provide cadets with little or no shooting experience Initial Weapons Training and Live Fire Marksmanship Training on the following Cadet Weapons Systems:
- Air Rifle
- L144A1 Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle
- L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle
Giving them the ability to come away from the camp with the following:
- Up to Advanced Marksman on the Air Rifle
- Up to Advanced Marksman on the L144A1 Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle
- Up to Marksman on the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle
Stream 2 - Air Rifle or Small Bore Trained
Stream 2 aims to provide cadets who have experience of firing the Air Rifle or Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle with Initial Weapons Training and Live Fire Marksmanship Training on L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle.
Cadets will have the ability to take part in Grouping, Elementary and Advanced Application of Fire practices coming away from the camp with up to Advanced Marksman on the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle.
Stream 3 - L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle Trained
Stream 3 aims to provide cadets who have experience of firing the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle with the ability to gain up to Advanced Marksman on the L98A2 Cadet GP Rifle and also Initial Weapons Training and Live Fire Marksmanship Training on the L86A2 Light Support Weapon.
Applications for the 2018 National Shooting Camp will be as follows
- Staff Applications Open - 20th November 2017
- Cadet Applications Open - 18th December 2017
