The newest group of Boilermakers hit campus this summer, and have already made an impact on the squad and our coaching staff. Three of the five newest Boilermakers hail from outside the United States, and bring some new flavor to the Old Gold & Black.

Sophomore Fatou Diagne

The sky is the limit for redshirt sophomore Fatou Diagne, who's 6-foot-4 frame makes her one of the most physically-imposing individuals to take the court for head coach Sharon Versyp. Despite being short on experience, picking up the game in 2010, Diagne's athleticism is at an elite level and can make an immediate impact for the Boilermakers.

Freshman Leony Boudreau

Montreal, Quebec native Leony Boudreau has already proven herself one of the strongest pound-for-pound individuals in program history, and is anxious to take that distinction to the floor this season. A combo guard with the ability to play on-or-off the ball, Boudreau gives the Boilermakers some added depth in the backcourt with great size and basketball IQ.

Freshman Tamara Farquhar

Freshman Tamara Farquhar is ready to become one of the great defensive stoppers in Purdue women's basketball history, standing 6-foot, but featuring a wingspan closer to that of a 7-footer. Hailing from the same school as teammate Leony Boudreau, the Pierrefonds, Quebec native will play a variety of positions for Versyp this season, and will make an immediate splash for the Old Gold & Black.
