Donald J. Trump is the 2016 Republican Party presidential nominee, despite the fact that he has no political experience. Trump, 70 years of age, is the Founder/Chairman/President/Chief Executive Officer of the Trump Organization (1975-today) and Chairman of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts (Inc.). Trump has reached tremendous success economically in his lifetime, net worthing 3.7 billion dollars. Trump attended Fordham University for his undergraduate education, and Wharton School of finance (Penn) for his postgraduate degree. Trump has raised 185 millions dollars for his campaign, second most among all active candidates running for president. Trump's political views have frequently changed. Often times the statements he gives are indistinct and conflicting. The political race for presidency has proven Trump's standpoints on major issues to be conservative. One of Trump's most distinguished political issues is illegal immigration. Upon being selected president, Trump plans to build a wall bordering the United States and Mexico.

Hillary Clinton is the Democratic Party's presidential nominee for the 2016 election. Clinton, 68 years of age, first showcased her political views as First Lady of the United States from 1993-2001, then as a U.S. senator from New York (2001-2009), and finally as the United States Secretary of State from 2009-2013. Clinton was secretary of state for 4 years, and a candidate of the 2008 presidential election, losing the Democratic Party nomination to Barack Obama (United states President 2008-2016). Clinton received her BA from Wellesley College in 1969, and her JD from Yale University in 1973. Clinton describes her political standing in an interview with CNN anchor and author, Anderson Cooper; "I’m a progressive. But I'm a progressive who likes to get things done. And I know how to find common ground, and I know how to stand my ground, and I have proved that in every position that I've had, even dealing with Republicans who never had a good word to say about me, honestly."

Jill Stein is a member of the Green party, and at 66 years of age, running for presidency alongside Ajamu Baraka under the Green party. Despite Stein's lack of elected official experience, she hopes to bring improvement to the environment and the everyday lives of American citizens across the country. Stein ran for 2012 presidential candidacy, losing out to Barack Obama. Stein hopes her values and beliefs can throw her to the top of the upcoming election in November. Stein received her BA from Harvard in Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology in 1973, and later received her MD from Harvard Medical school 1979.
