Brig. Gen. Heston Walkway Dedication @ Vermont's Veteran Cemetery

OVERVIEW

Friends, family and colleagues gathered in Randolph at the Vermont State Veterans Cemetery to reflect and honor the exceptional career of U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Michael Heston. The walkway dedication is symbolic to Heston's commitment to the Soldiers he served with in conjunction with his longevity of tenure in the Vermont National Guard.

On Sept. 19, history unfolded as the 158th Fighter Wing received the F-35 Lightning II

Anthony Marek, a pilot and commander of the 134th FS, land the first two F-35 Lightning IIs assigned to the 158th FW at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vt., Sept. 19. Vermont Airmen & Soldiers Conquer Cyber Yankee, 2019

[OVERVIEW]

The objective of Cyber Yankee was to create and defend a replicated network as it realistically mirrors everyday platforms, adding value to the skillsets of Defensive Cyberspace Operations Element (DCOE) operatives. Some of this year’s contributing partners included Massachusetts and New Hampshire State Police, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), U.S. Secret Service, Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Energy. The projected end state is to produce a diversified resource of cyber security personnel at various government, military and infrastructure agencies.
