In the mid part of October 2018, The HuskieS group was established by The Ambassadors.
They are the Leaders of The HuskieS.
They created this place for the Huskies, where they can grow as singers and improve their character without inhibitions. The purpose is to make music and enjoy their time with each other!
Last year of 2020 marked their 2nd Year Anniversary!
To be a leader, you must exhibit assertiveness, camaraderie and compassion to guide your dog sled team to each race.
A great example of a leader and who continues to inspire others, is Dolly Parton. She quoted, “If your actions create a legacy that inspires others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then, you are an excellent leader.”
And now for Race 2...
People on snowmobiles travel the race trail before the mushers and make sure that the trail markers are in place. The markers are sticks with a florescent paint so that at night, the musher can see them when the musher’s headlight flashes on the trail marker.
No one wants to get lost, but sometimes in the dark, a musher misses a trail marker. You need a good lead dog and a keen sense to SEARCH for your way out of the Iditarod Trail.
There are 300 songs on the list! Don’t settle for a safe song if YOU want to be the leader! Be brave enough to try a song that you have not tackled and that is uncommon. Show us what you’ve got!

1. THEME: Choose ANY song from the BILLBOARD HOT 100, YEAR-END CHARTS from 2018 to 2020.

2. SONG/GENRE: Any released English song and ANY genre/theme.

- Embellishments such as spoken, rap and/or an extemporized ad-lib will be allowed but do NOT alter the entire lyrics.
3. VERSION AND KEY: Any version and key will be allowed EXCEPT A CAPELLA, PARODY, MEDLEY AND/OR MASH-UP.
- Revivals are allowed as long as the song made it to the BILLBOARD HOT 100, YEAR-END CHARTS from 2018 to 2020.
4. OPEN TRACK as a single-person entry.
- NON-VIP: Please ask for a Race Official to open your track.
- Uploading of your own track will NOT be allowed. We can upload the track for you BUT this will take time.
5. FORMAT: Audio format only. Video format will be disqualified.
6. SOUND EFFECTS: Any sound effects from Smule may be used EXCEPT Super Harmony.
- Additional sound effects or voice modifiers from the other Apps such as, but not limited to, Style Studio, Garageband, Bandlab, Music Editor, etc will NOT be allowed.
- External audio mixers are NOT allowed.
7. LAYERS:
- VIP - Minimum of 1 main + 4 joins to a maximum of 1 main + 14 joins
- NON-VIP - 1 Race Official + minimum of 5 joins to a maximum of 15 joins.
8. BACKGROUND VOCALS: Pre-recorded backing vocals will NOT be allowed.
9. ORIGINAL COMPOSITION, such as replacing an entire verse, chorus, bridge or whole lyrics, will NOT be allowed.
