The hideaway from Sarah and Mark is a must have for a holiday in Italy!! After a week of sightseeing in Tuscany, visiting eight places in just six days, we had to relax in Marche. Thanks to you guys we definitely succeeded. The Marche countryside is beautiful and your service is 2000%!! Not only the WhatsApp from Sarah, and the advice from Mark for the restaurants (food and drinks, wine, everything) were always lovely and great!! Also the jokes and laughing with each other. It really made our holiday the best it could be!
The swimming pool, the cupcakes, the home-made bread and jam, the pizza paddle, the usage of the barbecue and oven, the vegetables fresh out of your own garden, the talking, also about Enrico from Il Tiglio, I still don’t know why he only wants to hug me, made it an extraordinary and unforgettable vacation/visit!! We will definitely promote this farmhouse to stay in bella Italia and living ‘la dolce vita’. Everone must know about this place and the restaurant - Il Tiglio - best restaurant ever! lots of love Jasmine and Jelle.

We almost can’t believe how perfect it all is, will definitely recommend it to all our friends and family.
Points of improvement - If the kitchen wasn’t so well-equipped we wouldn’t be jealous when we get home. If you had made our stay a little less comfortable, sleeping in the tent from tomorrow on wouldn’t come as such a shock! If you didn’t provide us with so many good tips up, we would not feel guilty for choosing to stay at the beautiful hideaway most of the afternoons and evenings it is just too nice and peaceful. Now we will have to start practising our baking skills - and our gardening!

We are long standing trippers in the Amandola / Comunanza area, and moved to staying at Il Nascondiglio - The Hideaway in 2018, so 2019 was a second visit. Sarah and Mark again made us most welcome, and provided another wonderful welcome package, as well as making an Agrotourismo booking in advance for our first night. As ever, the facilities and location are wonderful, and Sarah and Mark are prefect host. Back again in 2020, we hope.

Oh, how can we be original after reading all the reactions in these books. Our journey started and ended with lots of sun, food, laziness (is this a word?). We are in love at the bar in Comunanza where we went in the mornings for a cappuccino and latte macchiato. We walked around the Gola we visited Maria, went to Smerillo, visited the markets, bought a lot of stuff, had the best pizza by Mamma Rosa, had a very exciting lunch at Il Tiglio (and meet our friends jealous with all our photos). Conclusion – the Hideaway is the place to be in the 'Marche'. Mark and Sarah did a lot to make us feel at home. They gave us good advice. Thank you, you are great! Lots of love,

Devil in the detail? How about delight in the detail! Il Nascondiglio - The perfect 'Hideaway'...... Figs, bread, muffins! Leather bound 'Oracle' containing so much use for handwritten information complete with freehand map – what a delight! Mark and Sarah – the perfect house that have thought of pretty much everything! Delightful and relaxing in the Le Marche - a fabulous retreat and staging post to explore the parco nazionale dei Monti Sibillini. Grazie mille.

The last time ....
Three years ago – it was at your garden I felt the little baby in my tummy alive and kicking for the first time – a wonderful moment!
This year, Timo and I was so happy and proud to come over here again and show Kiki (2.5) and her little brother Jimmy (1) our happy place!!!
And also this time we felt so welcome, with the Prosecco and cakes for us but this time also animal blankets and a potty for the kids so nice! We really had a great time and the little ones discovered and love the Italian country life and food! We show them all the nice places, from the beach, the old times, the mountains and waterfalls to our favourite cappuccino bar and they love it like we do!

What a fabulous place The Hideaway is. The perfect spot to relax as much as you want or to walk or two from. The whole area is a hidden gem that not many people find ...yet.
Mark and Sarah are fantastic hosts and their knowledge and passion and love for the area really rubs off on us. They recommend that the best walks and places to visit and eat. Our apartment was very lovely and comfortable and the gardens with a fuse or just awe-inspiring. We came here as a result of browsing the walking guides in our local outdoor shop – what a beautiful place the Sibillini National Park is! We loved the Gola dell’Infernaccio and the track up Sibilla itself but Lago Di Pilato has to be the highlight.
Staying at The Hideaway has just been the ‘icing on the cake’. The little book of top tips has taken us to places that we would never have thought of visiting and the place itself is so peaceful and brilliantly set up. I am sure that will be back and maybe you’ll see a few of our friends to once I hear all about it!

Woof! My family and I live in the Black Forest. We thought we knew the meaning of Bella vista, until we came to The Hideaway. I have had a wonderful relaxing holiday and those two too. We’ve stayed in the stables and the upstairs apartment and we liked both. The first for the view, the second for the space. Both are very well decorated and very cosy! Actually it’s so lovely and peaceful here that we stayed a lot at “home”. Highlights of this week – Gola dell’Infernaccio, Lake of Fiastra, Quintana in Ascoli. Tip – we ate in a very nice restaurant Osteria Victoria in the old centre of Ascoli Piceno – stuffed olives, lemon sorbet. Thank you very much Mark & Sarah for your kindness and hospitality.

Fantastic apartment. Mark and Sarah have thought of everything. There is little extra touches – the home-made bread, jam and cakes were delicious. We took the little brown book everywhere – great recommendations for cafes, restaurants and places to visit. Feel like we have any just touched the surface of the area – a fascinating place. Five nights wasn’t long enough – we need to come back. We would have liked better weather – but if you can enjoy the airy when it’s chilly grey and raining – it must be fantastic in sunny weather.
