Shawn Mendes is a pop singer/song writer,but lets start with his early life
Shawn was born on August 8 1998 and raised in Toronto,Canada. Before becoming famous he was just a teenager who wanted to sing so he created a YouTube channel on January 18th 2011.
Shawn was a part of the vine app when it came out he would post covers of songs and people really reacted to it. He ended up joining a group called MagCon. It was a group filled with viners and YouTubers. They put on shows where he would sing songs and meet his fans.
In January 2014 Shawn went on to Island records where he was signed on and started to write his songs for his album hand written. His first song Life of the Party was released in June 2014 the same year
Shawn is now eighteen years old now and now has two albums out and is working on a new one. He is always working.
