Why do we study history?
History has always been an integral part of the world's age. Without it, people and the future ancestors would have no idea what's going on.
A tree can only grow by watering the roots and giving it nutrients. That's why we study history. We water the roots of the tree with our learning and participation in history. We give it nutrients by paying respects to our past, and we give respect by looking toward the future.
