ITA Senior Player of the Year Award
Santiago Perez from Columbus State University has been named the 2023 ITA Senior Player of the Year.
In his first season with Columbus State, Perez has immediately made his presence felt both on and off the court.
Beginning in the Fall, Perez won the ITA Southeast Regional Singles and Doubles Titles before winning ITA Cup Singles Championship just a few weeks later.
Holding the No. 1 Singles Ranking for the entirety of the season, Perez finished 23-2 on the season and was named the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year.
His efforts helped lead the Cougars to yet another NCAA Finalist finish and his impact will have a lasting legacy on the Cougar program.

The team and I are proud of the accomplishments you achieved. Winning the ITA Cup, PBC Player of the Year, achieving the No. 1 ranking in singles this year.
But what I am most proud of is how you represented Columbus State University with humility, a great fighting spirit, and outstanding sportsmanship! Congratulations once again on everything you achieved in your college career.
