Massachusetts will host the 87th Tri-State Matches at Cape Cod National Golf Club in Brewster, Mass Oct. 12-13.
The event features three organizations: RIGA (Rhode Island Golf Association, Mass Golf and the Connecticut State Golf Association. Day One morning matches feature six Mid-Amateurs paired with six Seniors and two Mid-Amateur, Mid-Amateur matches. Day One afternoon matches feature five Mid-Amateur, Mid-Amateur Matches along with three Senior-Senior Matches.
The Tri-State matches will conclude with singles matches in the morning on Wednesday, Oct. 13.
The RIGA seeks its first title since 2001. The Tri-State matches were canceled in 2020 due to heavy rain at Hartford Golf Club overnight. In 2019, Mass Golf won by 59.5 points over the CSGA at Kirkbrae Country Club.

- T9 in the 28th Rhode Island Mid-Amateur at Ledgemont
- T12 in the 38th Rhode Island Stroke Play at Alpine
- T14 in the 89th Rhode Island Open at Green Valley
- Currently ranked seventh in the Player of the Year standings
Darren Corrente, Wannamoisett Country Club
- Third in the 63rd Rhode Island Senior Amateur at Warwick
- T10 in the New England Senior Amateur
- Third in the 38th Rhode Island Stroke Play Senior Division at Alpine
- 13th in the 28th Mid-Amateur Senior Division at Ledgemont
- Currently ranked second in the Senior Player of the Year standings
