Parenting Your Anxious Tween/Teen, Sundays, February 5-26, 10-10:40 a.m., Francis Chapel: Based on Brock Morgan’s book The Anxious Teen: Ministry with Stressed and Fearful Students, this class will explore the stress, anxiety, and fear our children are experiencing and ways to cope. Equity & Empowerment Team Kickoff, February 6, 6 p.m., room 104: The Equity & Empowerment team will work to educate and equip our members for the work of inclusion and equity in our community and beyond. While we may kick off during Black History Month, we acknowledge the work is for all seasons and are excited to begin.

New - Young Adult Volunteer Opportunity with The Relatives, February 7 and 21, 5:30-7 p.m.: On the first and third Tuesday of each month, young adults are invited to volunteer with The Relatives, a local nonprofit that helps children and youth find shelter and support. We'll bring dinner, share a meal together, play games, and build relationships with the children and staff at The Relatives Youth Crisis Center on East Boulevard. We'd love for you to join us! Tap Into Your Creativity This Year: Join our 10-week study group reading Imagine: A Vision for Christians in the Arts by Steve Turner. The Enneagram and You: Ancient Wisdom and Timeless Traits, March 10, 6:30-8 p.m. and March 11, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.: Presented by the Labyrinth Ministry and facilitated by certified Enneagram educators Schawn and Eric Kellogg, this workshop focuses on the Enneagram®, a time-tested model that deepens our spirituality and is an effective pathway for intentional inner work. Marriage Workshop, February 18, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., room 107: Join Rev. Taylor Pryde Barefoot for this workshop designed for those who are getting married or are already married and seeking deeper connection, new communication patterns, and a stronger foundation together. IgniteUs Middle School Retreat, March 24-26, Camp Hanes, King, NC: Hosted by the Conference Council on Youth Ministries, this retreat includes ziplines, climbing walls, basketball games, scavenger hunts, fishing, soccer matches, volleyball, archery, and more! The cost is $175 and includes dinner on Friday, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. Click here to sign up. We also need six parents to join us.
