Science & Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit Winners

Congrats to the LMS students who participated in the Science and Engineering Fair of Metro Detroit. (SEFMD) These innovative young minds are tackling some of our planet's greatest challenges and are focused on improving our everyday lives! They have been hard at work on their projects in the Science & Engineering Explorations class or as part of the Science Fair Club. In addition to all of the SEFMD awards listed below our students also received many professional awards and our Gold awardees (GR, 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place) are invited to enter their projects into the National Fair Broadcom Masters.

Congrats to AHS JV Winterguard -- State Champs!

Congrats to the AHS JV Winterguard team, who won first place this past Saturday at the Michigan Color Guard Circuit State Championship competition in Saginaw. The team includes many Larson students -- Alivia Burch, Ella Victor, Greta Burt, Katie Dzwik, Maggie Burns, Olivia Cruz, Vivienne Brown, Haley Bodway, and Ella Bunao. Way to go, Rebels!

Teacher Appreciation Week Signup

Beginning Monday May 2nd, we will be celebrarting Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week at Larson Middle School. In order to make this a great week for our amazing staff, WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are loading up the teachers lounge with lots of grab-n-go goodies. We will be requesting items that are individually wrapped. We are trying to give our teachers treats that they can grab throughout the day. Please consider signing up!

PSAT/MSTEP Testing Schedule

We will start testing next week with the 8th Grade PSAT. Testing for 6th and 7th grade students will follow. Your student will be testing during the dates listed below. If you can avoid absences or other appointments during these times, it would be most appreciated. If you have any questions about testing, please reach out to me.
