Old Changi Hospital A PLACE TO BE MISSED

The old Changi hospital was first founded in 1935. It was first used as a military base to defend the eastern coastal side of the Johor Strait.

The hospital was commissioned and was named the Royal Air Force Hospital.

It was then used as a large prison camp during WWII by the Japanese.

Following the end of WWII, the hospital was moved back to its premises till Singapore claimed independence in 1965. The hospital was again renamed ANZUK Hospital to service ANZUK Forces in 1971.
Washrooms Of The Hospital
It was soon disbanded in 1975 and handed to the SAF Forces.The hospital merged with Changi Chalet Hospital in 1976 and renamed Changi Hospital.It lasted till 15 December 1997 when Changi Hospital merge to form Changi General Hospital.
The old hospital ceased operations and abandoned ever since.It now holds eerie and dark memories of those who have died in the World War.
