Your Role In DCAR Is What You Make Of It
DCAR is recognized by the National Association of REALTORS® as a state-level Association. The District of Columbia Association of REALTORS® advocates, protects and promotes the interests of our members and the public we serve. Committed to maintaining a thriving real estate environment in the District of Columbia, DCAR advocates on behalf of members to maintain a strong and influential public policy presence in DC. DCAR is comprised of a full-time staff and a committed group of volunteers who serve on the Board of Directors, as well as the Public Policy and Communications committees.
Who is the DCAR leadership?
DCAR is led by a group of volunteer REALTORS® and REALTOR® associates who dedicate much of their time and energy to furthering the organization’s advocacy efforts here in Washington, DC. The Board of Directors consists of a diverse group of volunteers who contribute their real estate experience and expertise.
The Board of Directors plans DCAR's strategic operations from year to year from an advocacy and community engagement standpoint. The Board meets bi-monthly to assess the Association's progress and make adjustments to further DCAR's goals. The Board is lead by an executive committee consisting of the President, Immediate Past President, President-Elect, Secretary and Treasurer.
