And So It Begins
Progress is moving along nicely. We had a site inspection, confirming many updates. The construction entrance is in place and the permit box is to code. Temporary ponds have been installed and inspected. Erosion control has passed Newton County Inspections and the site has received a 7-day letter of compliance from the engineer. The water catchment system is installed and working, and all water is being diverted to detention areas. Grubbing and mass grading is cleared to commence as of 4/25/22. The Temporary stream crossing is functioning properly with no noticeable runoff to the stream.
We also have some design updates. Retaining walls have been designed and the contractor is coordinating with Gorman for installation. The architect has provided updated floor plans and 4 suggested elevations for each floor plan. We have provided value engineering suggestions and are waiting for updated designs. And lastly, upon receipt, we will submit to Progress for final approval and commence with permit drawings and submissions.
