Host an Adobe & Microsoft Digital Skills Day with Victorian Government Schools

A partnership between

Adobe, Microsoft, Digital Learning Services Unit, Department of Education and Training Victoria and Digital Learning and Teaching Victoria

What is an Adobe & Microsoft Digital Skills Day?

We are really excited to invite your school to this exclusive opportunity for students and teachers. It is the first time we have run this format of engagement and professional learning and we would love your school to be involved.

We have a limited number of sessions that we are planning, so this is a unique opportunity for your school to be involved.

Use this site to plan a special free event at your school. Adobe & Microsoft education experts will run activities and workshops for students and teachers, supporting your school to make the most of their access to these applications.

When

Staring in late March and running through to the end of Term 2, you can negotiate your preferred date. Book in early to avoid missing out!

How to apply

Use the online expression of interest form to start the process of organising one of these free events at your school.

Student sessions

Student sessions can be tailored to the needs of the school.

  • Some schools may run an incursion for a lucky group of students from a variety of year levels.
  • Other schools may prefer to share the experts within the exisiting timetable on chosen day.

A special lunchtime infographic creation competition with the new Adobe Creative Cloud Express will take place for any student interested, and prizes will be provided to winning entries (no-Internet uploading required).

Teacher sessions

After school, from 4 PM, a special professional learning event will take place for all interested teaching staff. Schools are welcomed to invite neighbouring teachers from the region.

This will involve optional small group breakout workshops led by Adobe Education Leaders (AELs) and Microsoft Innovative Educators (MIEs) from around Australia who will beam in online. These leaders are classroom teachers who are passionate users of the software and skilled at training educators. This can be customised upon request.
