The overall story moves from personal meaning in the home, to the biggest displays around.

The Santa advent calendar is an annual tradition that has been passed down through the family for generations. Starting on December 1, the parents put one piece of candy in each door leading up to Christmas, and on the 25th, there is a note that says to open presents under the tree.

The fireplace mantle displays decorative garland, tree candles, reindeer, and stockings.

The lady lamp stands proudly for over 50 years, dating back to World War II. The light is a focal point in the living room.
