BACK IN 1994
Giuseppe and Maria-Pia settled in Nossegem and opened their small Italian restaurant. The local habitants could already smell our fresh oven-baked pizza's all over town.
IN THE MEANWHILE...
Giuseppe and Maria-Pia struggled during their first months, as getting known and building their clientele was not easy. But they held their head up.
BIG BREAKTHROUGH IN 2004....
After more than a decade of efforts, the young couple saw an opportunity in their local area as more and more international companies were settling their branch offices on walking distance of their restaurant. They took an important risk and started to build the first 17 rooms: Hotel Taormina was born.
The combination of a restaurant and a hotel quickly seemed to be a steady and interesting business. A couple of years later 15 rooms have been added on the first floor. Hotel Taormina engaged in long term collaborations with companies as Pfizer, Zoetis, Toyota, Haas Automation, Mayekawa, ...
HOTEL TAORMINA FUTURE PERSPECTIVE
The second generation, Giuseppe and Maria-Pia's suns, have started their career in the family-business. Lorenzo has graduated and obtained his professional Bachelor's degree in Business Management: Marketing & Multimedia cum laude and Massimo has enrolled in Hotel Management college. Their long-term vision is to combine their strengths and enhance the family-business by bringing their own new, fresh and young touch to the organization. Their perspective is to support Hotel Taormina as an established value in local hospitality and to provide significant service to their relations. Together, they want to strengthen their foundations in order to develop their business together and replicate the business hotel concept.
