Strikes

As you may have seen in the news some teachers have been asked whether they would like to strike over the coming weeks. Whilst I do not yet know whether this will affect our school, we will keep you informed as more information becomes available.

Bungalow Progress

The bungalow is getting ready closer to be being ready! Once open the bungalow will provide new group rooms for the school and a new community hub space. Much of FOMPS fundraising has contributed to the ongoing refurbishment and it's no exaggeration to say that we couldn't have got as far as we have without this help. Flooring works should soon be completed and then we move onto installing a new kitchen. We also hope to make one of the entrances accessible from the playground so that children can enter without going into the carpark. Thank you for your ongoing support and we hope to welcome you into the new building soon.

T-Track, Writing, KS1 Dance & Lego Clubs (Thursday club)

Please note that the clubs listed above will not be running this Thursday due to a training event that all teachers at school are attending. Netball club will run as normal.

FOMPS

Thank you to those who came to our meeting on Monday.

We are please to report the events and activities ran last term made just over £3,000. What a fantastic achievement! This will go towards completing the bungalow project.

We are planning to organise more events during the rest of the school year however, this is where we need YOU!!

We would like to hold some social events, including a quiz, a summer BBQ and our biggest fundraiser 'The Scarecrow Trail' which happens in May every year. However, to run these we need help. We are looking for people who would be able to donate even just an hour to help organise, plan and run the events. Without a few more willing helpers these activities which are enjoyed by the children, parents and wider community alike, will not happen!

We would also love to continue building our FOMPs committee team, the more members the easier it becomes.

If you would be interested in joining the FOMPS committee or would be willing to give some time (no mater how small) to help raise vital funds for the school and provide exciting activites for our children, Please contact us on fompspta@gmail.com or see our Facebook page for more information.

Our next FOMPs meeting will be held at Rivo Lounge on Tuesday 7th February at 7.30/8pm.

We hope to see you there.
