Friends, we can't thank you enough for your love & prayers for us on this journey of faith as we follow God from Sweden to "New Sweden" (The Greater Philadelphia Region). We are excited to share about the work we will be doing through Haney Love Ministries and the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and want to extend a personal invitation to you to join our team of Ministry Partners, whether through praying, participating or providing financially.
As Musical Missionaries and Evangelism Catalysts, we will engage our community with the gospel through music & arts, discipleship groups, various outreaches and daily life on life opportunities. We are passionate worship leaders and songwriter/artists and desire to be a resource to the Send Network and church planters in the region as we encourage and come alongside churches as they engage their communities in creative ways for the Kingdom of God.
WHY THE GREATER PHILADELPHIA REGION?
Philadelphia is the second largest city on the east coast with more than 6 million souls yet only 6% of its residents are followers of Jesus. The lostness and need for Jesus is great!
Philadelphia is a very diverse city with a rich musical heritage going back to colonial times. It has not only made a great cultural impact on music, but also on art, television and architecture. The Lehigh Valley also has a rich musical history and is home to Musikfest. As creatives, we know how powerful music and art can be as a vehicle for the gospel and are excited to see what God will do and how he will lead.
Philly is a city of neighborhoods! Our heart is to come alongside the church planters in this region to help with various ministry opportunities and to encourage and equip the churches as together we live out the gospel and make disciples in this region.
Our partner church plant in Philly is Bedrock Church Fishtown, which is right next door to Kensington, an area that has been devastated by drugs, poverty, and violence. Our local church plant, Our City Center, is located in the heart of Bethlehem, desiring to reach our city - one person and one family at a time! We’re excited to see how God allows us to be part of making His kingdom known in these communities and beyond!

How do we do this?
Our mission is to share the good news of hope in Jesus through Word and Song so that others may have a life-changing encounter with God’s love and join Him on His mission of bringing the dead to life. We live this out by creating, sharing & inspiring.
CREATE
Being formed in the image of God, we are created to create. One of our objectives is to create music and materials that point others to Jesus and glorify Him. Whether we are composing Stories of Hope through music, writing songs for an open mic or our church, or writing devotionals, training materials or books, we want to share the love of Jesus and how others can join Him on mission. This is our way of stewarding the gifts God has specifically given us. Anissa is currently writing an outreach/ discipleship curriculum for churches as well.
SHARE
Another way we accomplish this mission is through sharing. Our heart is to engage our community with the message of Hope in Jesus. We are called to build bridges to share the gospel incarnationally through different means whether through music, Alpha groups, Open Mics, Stories of Hope concerts, outreaches in the community, or natural life on life opportunities. We desire to walk alongside people as they explore faith, making disciples that make disciples.
INSPIRE
We are passionate about encouraging and equipping believers to join God on His Mission, share their faith in the marketplace, and use the unique gifts that God has given them to live out the gospel. We do this through teaching workshops, being guest speakers, coming alongside, and through leading worship or holding concerts. Our desire is to build others up, prepare and inspire them to uniquely live out their calling and purpose in Christ.
There are a few ways in which you can partner with us...
PRAY - We invite you to join our team as a monthly prayer partner. We cannot step into this work without your faithful prayers — We will send out monthly prayer points.
PARTICIPATE – We invite you to participate in ministry opportunities in the future — from various outreaches to special needs or projects to fund, or in person ministry opportunities to join in on!
PROVIDE – We also invite you to join our team by becoming a monthly financial contributor. Just as God provides for those He calls and sets apart to His service, He allows others to join Him in the joy and work of providing as well. This is an opportunity to invest in the Kingdom of God!
As NAMB missionaries, we are responsible for raising our own financial support. In order for us to fully step into our ministry assignment, we'll need a team of supporters who will partner with us monthly at $100, $50, or some other amount that is significant to you! Let us know if you have any questions! Any gift is helpful whether it be a one-time gift or monthly support. We appreciate your partnership on whatever level the Lord leads you in.
