We Give Thanks

Dear Lord:

We give thanks For our many blessings As we pray for those in need.

We give thanks For our family and friends As we pray for those who are lonely.

We give thanks for our freedoms As we pray for those who are oppressed.

We give thanks for our good health As we pray for those who are ill.

We give thanks for our comfort and prosperity As we share our blessings with others.

During this time of Thanksgiving, May the love of God enfold us, The peace of God dwell within us And the joy of God uplift us. Amen.

Picking up from MMM

We are noticing a great deal of congestion during our dismissal from school from 3:12pm to 3:45pm. We are suggesting two options to alleviate this congestion. Much of this congestion is caused by people waiting to turn left from our pick up area onto Leger Road into the area highlighted in yellow on the map. We are suggesting two options to alleviate this congestion.

  1. Arrange to meet your student in the recreation center parking lot located west of the school, circled red on the map. It is only a short (3 minute) walk from the front door of the school.
  2. Exit west (right turn) onto Leger Road when leaving the school. This will take you to 23rd avenue and away from AJM school who is dismissing students as well.

Final Examinations

Alberta Education recently announced that diploma examinations for the 2022 - 2023 school year will carry a weighting of 20% (adjusted from 30%). MMM, along with all other ECSD high schools, has adjusted all common final exams to carry a weighting of 20% (adjusted from 25%).

Teachers will have this reflected on their course outlines and will have made adjustments to their gradebooks where necessary.
