Mrs Harding
Unfortunately we will be saying farewell to Mrs Harding at the end of this term. Mrs Harding has been an amazing teaching assistant for the school over the last 9 years and she will be hugely missed by pupils and staff alike. Thank you for all you have done Mrs Harding and we wish you the very best of luck.
Photos
The photographers will be in school this Monday 10th October in the morning. They will be taking individual and school age sibling photos.
Cross Country
We were so proud to see some of our Y5 and Y6 children represent the school at the Mid-Wilts Cross Country competition yesterday. They all showed incredible determination and resilience on what was quite a blustery course! Well done to Nefeli, Tilly, Jasmine, Lily, George, Noah, Reuben F, Reuben R, Maria, Quique, Rojus and Zak. Special mention for Noah who won the Y5/6 boys race and to Jasmine & Maria who came 5th and 8th in the Y5/Y6 girls. Next year we will be entering a Y3/Y4 as well as a Y5/Y6 team.
Hello Yellow
Monkton Park is taking part in #HelloYellow this Tuesday 11 October 2022
We’ll be joining thousands of other schools by wearing yellow to show young people that how they feel matters, as well as raising money for YoungMinds. To take part children can come to school wearing non-school uniform with a splash of yellow. Whether it’s custard socks, neon t-shirts or banana hats we’d love to say #HelloYellow
If you would like to make a donation to Young Minds, please follow the link: https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/helloyellow2022/

Mini London Marathon in Schools
We finished our mini London Marathon in style today with a final lap of honour. We've been so impressed to see almost every child run at least 2.6 miles and today's final lap was a lovely way to celebrate that achievement. We hope to see our mini marathon pin badges arrive in November. Well done everyone!
