#9 Women's Ice Hockey Sweeps Hamilton
Colby embarked on its furthest road trip of the year, heading to Clinton, N.Y. to take on Hamilton College for a two-game set. While goals have been hard to come by for Colby's opponents, Hamilton found fortune in the series opener to the tune of four goals. Despite playing from behind for most of the game, the Mules were relentless in their pursuit of the win. McKinley Karpa knotted the score at four with five minutes remaining in regulation, and Jillian Mazzocca tallied the game-winner in overtime for the 5-4 victory.
While both teams combining for nine goals in Friday's affair, defense and goaltenders took center stage on Saturday. Colby goalie Nina Prunster turned away all 25 shots she faced and Lexi Cafiero's second period score proved to be the game-winner as the Mules took the sweep with a 1-0 victory.
Colby is now 13-3, solidly in second place in the NESCAC.
#15 Men's Ice Hockey Maintains Ranking After 1-1-1 Week
As the top-ranked team in NESCAC, and one of the top-ranked teams in all of Division III, Colby's Men's Ice Hockey team should get used to having a target on its back. This week the Mules faced three teams with sub-500 records, but its clear all opponents will bring their best when they step on the ice with the Mules.
In Colby's first game of the week, the Mules traveled to Conn. College, settling for its first tie of the season (3-3). Goals came from Jack Sullivan, Justin Grillo, and Brian Sanzone.

Colby is now 12-4-1, sitting atop the NESCAC.
