SOMETHING SWEET | As an active Student Association member, Cara Kaslatas kicked off her morning by teaching Honorary Norsemen how to make dirt cakes. “They were all so sweet and little so it made it ten times more fun,” Kaslatas said.

LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK | Sharing his workplace, specifically the planetarium, with his 4 kids was the most special part for teacher Don Pata. “My kids [favorite part of] Bring Your Kid To Work Day [was] split between the planetarium and the gym,” Pata said.

A BLAST TO THE PAST | While ensuring that Bring Your Kid To Work Day was a success by keeping North faculty kids entertained throughout the day, senior Martin Daher enjoys helping because when he was a child he always looked up to older kids. “Speaking from my experience as a young child, it would be such a good time being able to fit in and have fun with older kids,” Daher said.

GAME TIME | Hungry, Hungry Hippos was one of the most popular field day games for senior Sadie Shefferly. “I was most excited to interact, play and hang out with the kids.” Shefferly said.

HAVING A MINI ME | Getting to show his kids where he works was something teacher Benjamin Godwin and his family had thought about for many weeks prior to this event. “I was most excited for my boys to see North and many of the ‘big kids’ I talk about,” Godwin said.

BRINGING THE ENERGY | With the large variety of activities, volunteer Mia Tedesco spent time dancing and singing with the kids and she also highlighted the energy the kids brought which made it fun for all ages. “It was so much fun to sing and dance with them,” Tedesco said. “It allowed me to break away from school and enjoy the last day before the weekend.”
